Richard Manderbach

Richard Manderbach, Director, Co-Chair of the Project Development Committee, was a partner for over 30 years with Krekow Jennings Inc, a Seattle based construction company. His role in the company included that of superintendent, project manager, partner in charge, in the building of complex and demanding residential and commercial projects. Richard’s experience includes building homes in the San Juan Islands, including two Lopez Island projects, which provided experience in working with the island community, permit process and the challenging logistics of efficient building in the islands.

Prior to Krekow Jennings, Richard worked 2 years with HW Blackstock, building and supplying panelized buildings for Public Works Construction for the North Slope of Alaska. He also spent a year in Albuquerque, New Mexico, building affordable modular housing. Both these early opportunities provided insights into the efficient solutions that modular housing can provide remote locations. He is a former board member of “Arcade” the Northwest Architectural League and the Henry Gallery at the University of Washington.
