Linda Floodeen

Linda Floodeen, Treasurer, Member of the Executive Committee and Finance Committees, Chairperson of Investment Committee, has worked in accounting for more than 40 years. After starting her career in banking, she transitioned to the private sector as Supervisor of Accounting for a privately held corporation. Most of her experience, however, has been in public school accounting, where she has been a Fiscal Coordinator, Budget Analyst, Accounting Technician, and Finance Manager. She also maintains a small accounting business from home, providing basic accounting services to small businesses, primarily building contractors. A lifelong volunteer, she has worked with many nonprofit groups. She is a former board member of Lopez Island Dollars for Scholars, where she served as Treasurer. She currently provides bookkeeping services for Aleck Bay Park Maintenance Corporation (her homeowners’ association), serves as Treasurer for Lopez Island Community Scholarship Foundation, and serves as Treasurer for Housing Lopez, Inc.

 

Linda has been a resident and active community member of Lopez Island for approximately 6 years.
