It Takes A Village - And We're Grateful for Ours!
There’s something especially meaningful about watching a project take shape — not just in blueprints or budgets, but in real time, with real people putting their hands to the work.
At Village North, every week brings us closer to welcoming new families home. And this month, we want to pause and celebrate a team who’s helped us take one big step forward. A heartfelt thank you to Miguel and the crew at Grasshopper Mowing & Landscaping for completing the gutter and downspout installation on all of the new homes. Not only was their craftsmanship excellent, but by working with a Lopez-based team, we’re keeping local dollars right here in our community.
As we look ahead, topsoil contouring and spreading is underway, and the landscaping contractor will soon be on site to install irrigation and the first round of exterior plantings. After that, fencing will go in, and then another local favorite, Field and Grove, will begin interior landscaping and irrigation work.
It’s a beautiful reminder that building homes builds community — and that every local business, crew member, and contractor becomes part of the story.
We’re grateful for every partner, every donor, and every neighbor who continues to support this work. And we’re so excited to share that the first families are just weeks away from being able to call Village North home.
