January 2025 Update and Invite
While the days have grown shorter, and a cool chill has certainly settled over Lopez Island, a warm promise is on the horizon: a promise of welcoming 15 new affordable houses for Lopezians to call home.
The Village North construction site is a flurry of activity, a testament to your constant support and months of hard work and planning. Foundations have been poured, stem walls are complete, and the first utility connections have been laid.
Save the Date
On January 7th, 2025, we’ll reach a major milestone as the modular units of the first two structures (one with four, one-bedroom units and the other with three, two-bedrooms units) are placed on their foundations.
Join us at Grace Church Meeting Room for coffee, cider, cocoa, and cookies and witness the team of experts lift the structures by crane and place them carefully and precisely on the waiting foundations. This is a chance to toast to the progress you’ve helped make possible and share in the excitement of realizing the dream of Phase 1 of Village North.
